What is NFPA 13?

The industry benchmark for design and installation of automatic fire sprinkler systems, NFPA 13 addresses sprinkler system design approaches, system installation, and component options to prevent fire deaths and property loss.

What does NFPA 13 address?

Comprehensive requirements include sprinkler system design, installation, and acceptance testing; hanging and bracing systems; underground piping; and seismic protection in line with SEI/ASCE 7. NFPA 13 also includes provisions for special storage arrangements.

Jarrett Fire Protection has a full staff versed in NFPA Standard for the Installation of Automatic Sprinkler Systems which bases its fire control approach on occupancy hazards associated with specific occupancies: light, ordinary, extra hazard occupancy classifications.
